Cumulus User Group
The Cumulus User Group was created in the fall of 2007 as a direct result of the recommendation & support of Peter Van Gage of Harlequin Enterprises Ltd. Aware that the quantity of professionally run Cumulus installations in the southern Ontario area had achieved a critical mass, Peter proposed the creation of a users group to provide a supportive environment to meet other users, share knowledge as well as grow skills and systems value.
The first users conference was highlighted with user presentations by: Ariela Levy & Rachel Melis of the Centre for Addition and Mental Health, Ron Gabor, Darcy Glidden & Jenn Horwath of the Hamilton Public Library & Peter Van Gage of Harlequin Enterprises Ltd., and was held in concert with the annual Canto roadshow that has historically presented a closer look at new features, enhancements and directions in recent releases of Cumulus for users & prospects alike. User training was also conducted during this 2-day event.
This combined 2-day event was such a success that the Fall 2008 conference is currently being planned for Thursday & Friday October 23rd & 24th to be held at the Hamilton Public Library. The Roadshow (V8) & Advance User Training are also planned.
