Volcanic Eruption Doesn't Stop Canto Partners
April 2010

In April, Canto hosted another of its successful partner meetings in Berlin. Despite Iceland's volcanic eruption causing many partners to stay longer than expected, many used the opportunity to network and speak to Canto employees learning more about Cumulus than ever. With all that knowledge, your local Canto partner is sure to have the latest information on Cumulus so be sure to contact them today. To find your local partner go to the Canto web page at: http://www.canto.com/en/partners/find/

April also brought a new Canto case study focusing on one of Austria's leading reprographics company as well as a minor bug-fix for Cumulus 8.0.

Don't forget, Cumulus Sites and Cumulus 8.1.1 are now available for you to keep up-to-date on all what Cumulus offers today!

Here's what was posted to the Canto blog during the month:

> Share files with anyone, using Collection Links in Cumulus 8

Before the Collection Links feature in Cumulus 8, sharing files with Web users was always a balance of flexibility and security. You want to share some files, but not all files. Further, you want to choose exactly who can access the files, and you might even want the links you provide expire at some point.

> Case study: Reprozwölf

Within the last 25 years, Reprozwölf, one of Austria's leading reprographic companies, gathered millions of images. Processing systems as big as washing machines became necessary - until Canto Cumulus took over their digital assets. Today Cumulus is the company's main search engine and color management tool.

> Volcanic Cinder Can't Hinder Canto Partner Enthusiasm at Annual Meeting

Canto's worldwide partners were invited to Berlin to attend the company's annual partner meeting. Attendees from all parts of the globe descended on a warm and sunny Berlin to share ideas, product demos and business opportunities.

> Cumulus 8.0.3 Update Available Now

Though Canto encourages all customers to update to Cumulus 8.1.1 to ensure they're taking advantage of all that Cumulus offers today, a minor bug-fix release has been released for Cumulus 8.0.
