Photo Wizard page

Photo Wizard – This module is activated by simply plugging a digital camera into any PC where the software is installed, or launching the interface when using an accessible disk location. Upon activation, the officer will be requested to enter his badge number, case number, case specific metadata and other tracking data required by the organization. The system will pull all of the photos and gathered metadata into the system. Because each organization is different, this metadata is customizable and where desired, can be made mandatory.Is PW browser based and is therefore easy to deploy and easy to access?

Upon activation

pull all of the photos - select images to import / catalog

gathered metadata into the system -Enter metadata with which the images are tagged

This gets the photo evidence into the system with minimal effort and maximum metadata applied to the evidence. As soon as the photos are transferred from the camera, the officer is free to continue his day as the system processes them in the background. Once processed  they are available for use. The metadata collected on the Photo Wizard can be adjusted to suit each organizations terminology and data capture requirements.

Evidence Management Page

Evidence Management – This module provides flexible configuration so that each user or group, can be extended the specific rights and permissions for their pre-determined level of authority.  Everything from single file “view only†permission access, right up to rich user features are browser based and available globally if desired. Some of the features available include; collection baskets, down-load permissions, batch file conversions, zipped file creation, emailing collections, email notification of viewable collections/files, time sensitive access to viewable collections, full featured searching with frequently used searches being saved and shared. In addition, all systems transaction details starting from access can be logged to support manual or automated report creation. As a browser based technology the evidence management module is easy to deploy and access while still allowing granular security.

Evidence Management is used to provide both a view as well as workflow process options to facilitate searching for and adding files in collection baskets. The collection baskets can be shared for further review or used as a source for final file output and production. It is also the interface for creating orders for the Production Module.

The Collection Basket tab of Evidence Management is where the users can proceed to download the images or generate an order depending on their permissions.

Production Management Page

Production Management – This module provides a configurable interface for managing evidence through production stages. Extending secured user access from the evidence module allows authorized users to place orders to satisfy evidence the requirements associated to each specific case. Orders can be tracked through multiple output choices and can include shipment, shipment notification, and even delivery confirmation if desired.

Production Management  is used to access orders created in Evidence Management and get prints or DVD’s made of the collected orders, usually for use in court.
